I have been using Spotify Premium with student discount for a year now and I got an information, that I have to renew it using SheerID. I tried a few times and finally got accepted. However a month later I see, that my student discount is over for no reason. I am still a student, what I have already proven. Also it's not possible to verify via SheerID again, becouse it says "This offer was already used". It's weird becouse Spotify allows to get Premium with student discount for 4 years. I will be grateful for any information and help.
How can we help you?
Go to Solution. Usually, spotify will send an email to notify that your student subscription is about to end in a few days. However, just make sure you're signed into your own account after you click on the "Extend Discount" link. Follow instructions to verify that information.
This renewal today would be only the 2nd. I believe that I am entitled to 3 renewal for 4 years or 48 months of subscription to the student rate. As you mention, Premium Student is valid for up to 12 months from the date you subscribed and you can renew it for up to four years. If you're still an eligible student, you can renew by heading to www. Once you've renewed successfully, you'll get the discounted rate for another 12 months.
I got an email today that my student discount will run out soon and that I could renew it if I'm still a student. I don't see anything where I can reconfirm that I'm still a student, it just says "get premium". How does the discount renewal work? Am I supposed to log in and go through the "get premium" stuff again or will that leave me with 2 subscriptions? Go to Solution. Since you currently have an active subscription, you need to cancel your premium in your last month before the 12 student months are up and revert back to 'Spotify Free' before applying for the student discount again. Once canceled, you'll still be on Premium for the remainder of the month you've paid for. Then, after that, sign up for Premium again under the Student Discount. View solution in original post.
