Skip to main content. We understand that everything that arises, arises simultaneously in all four of these realms -- though sometimes we may experience life primarily in one realm or another. The four worlds are: ASSIYAH , earth, the objective world, where we live with our bodies in the physical world of action, including action for spiritual purpose. This is the world of sensible, concrete facts and their data. Here we are conscious of the physical realm and the laws of nature as we observe them. Here we are aware of being a creation of God. This is the world of duality, in which everything is seen as separate, and subject to cause and effect. This is also the world of the life force, the senses, the breath, experiencing freedom and love of life, being the God-wrestler.

We shall now examine in detail the different stages of the chain order of creation once Tzimtzum had created the vacuum within which finite creation could come about. In order to describe these stages and draw their comprehension closer to our understanding, we shall use an analogy from a builder. Imagine a couple has an idea that they want to build the ideal house for themselves and their family. The idea struck them totally out of the blue. In a flash they had a picture in their mind of a state-of-the-art palatial home with gardens and a pool. Relishing such an idea, the couple then sat down and worked out the entire structure in their mind by visualizing each bedroom, dining room, kitchen, garage, etc. In the mind, the initial idea has been developed in breadth and depth. After such a beautiful dream, they could easily delete the entire image from their mind.

One type like Isaac Luria used the Tree of Life as a map that spans the four worlds, and to each world there is also a Tree of 10 sephiroth. But those Kabbalists, like Joseph Gikatilla and Moses ben Leon, who knew the diagram of the Seven Palaces conceived of a different and most secret arrangement of the four worlds. The highest world of Atziluth was formless and the realm of Hashem. Nothing could be said of it.
The 4 main worlds. The Tree is divided into four levels known as the Four Worlds these worlds correspond to the senses of vision, hearing, smell and speech :. The Worlds are garments of the Ein Sof, and Hasidic thought interprets their reality as only apparent to Creation , while "from above" the Divine Infinite fills all equally. As particular sephirot dominate in each realm, so the primordial fifth World, Adam Kadmon , is often excluded for its transcendence, and the four subsequent Worlds are usually referred to. As well as the functional role each World has in the process of Creation, they also embody dimensions of consciousness within human experience. The Worlds are formed by the Ohr Mimalei Kol Olmin , the Divine creative light that "Fills all Worlds" immanently, according to their particular spiritual capacity to receive.
